Lead Window & Remodeling Installer
Location: Altoona, WI
Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Overview
We're looking for an experienced Lead Window & Remodeling Installer to join our growing team. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoy leading projects, and have experience installing windows and completing residential remodeling work, we'd love to hear from you.
As a lead installer, you'll oversee projects from start to finish while working alongside a crew to deliver exceptional results. Our work includes window replacements, remodeling, new construction, siding, decks, and exterior improvements throughout the Chippewa Valley and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation crews on residential remodeling projects
- Install replacement and new construction windows
- Complete aluminum window wrapping and exterior trim work
- Perform finish carpentry and general remodeling tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Install doors, siding, trim, decking, and other exterior building materials
- Complete remodeling work, including framing, flooring, drywall, and finish work as needed
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members
- Train and mentor less-experienced installers
Qualifications
- 6 years of construction or remodeling experience preferred
- Experience installing replacement and new construction windows
- Knowledge of aluminum window wrapping and exterior finish work
- Strong carpentry and remodeling skills
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a crew and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Altoona shop
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work in varying weather conditions
