Direct Care Workers would provide care to multiple clients during their availability. Flexible schedule!!! Work 9am-2pm or 11am-4pm it is up to you to establish your availability!!!

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with dementia, and Alzheimer's. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, attentive support, and respectful engagement. Responsibilities

• Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support

• Provide medication reminders and following prescribed care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
• Support clients with memory care needs by engaging in activities tailored to individual preferences.
• Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and assist with meal preparation to promote health and well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties
• Document care activities accurately using Electronic Visitation Record (EMR) systems
• Drive residents to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safety during transportation.
• Engage in positive interactions that promote independence and emotional well-being.
• Support residents' emotional needs through active listening, companionship, and encouragement during daily routines or challenging moments.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, families, and team members to deliver comprehensive case management tailored to each resident’s needs.

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments involving direct support roles. Experience working with people with disabilities and providing Alzheimer’s or dementia care is highly valued. Previous roles involving caregiving for seniors or children demonstrate versatility in supporting diverse populations. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology. Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
