Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status to promptly report concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents meticulously in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a caring environment that promotes dignity and respect for all residents or clients.
Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience working in caregiving roles within settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments. Experience working specifically with populations such as seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory-related conditions like dementia is highly valued.
