The follow list are some things you could expect to learn and do during the internship:
- Attend periodic planning meetings with your immediate supervisor to discuss the needs of
the clients and our ongoing involvement. During these meetings note any issues or
resolutions and schedule future site visits with assistance from your supervisor. - Assist in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing construction documents.
- Assist in conducting field investigations and completing the field investigation reports.
- Assist with the development and analysis of electronic data related to the business of the
Company. - Assist in performing field testing in accordance with referenced industry standards.
- Actively pursue and participate in continuing education opportunities to further your
knowledge of the industry. - Assist with filing (electronic and physical).
- Maintaining your Project Experience Record, as directed by your supervisor.
- Scheduling meetings and travel for self on digital calendar as required by your immediate
supervisor. - Entering Time and Expenses into appropriate software platform on a weekly basis,
preferably by end of day Friday. - Complying will all policies and provisions of the BECI Employee Handbook.
- Understand and review the overall goals of the office with the supervisor and other team
members and work proactively to achieve the set goals.
Compensation
- Hourly rate starting at $15.00 per hour, plus applicable overtime rates for qualifying overtime hours.
