Bechtech Automotive is hiring a full-time Entry-Level Automotive Technician at $20.00 per hour for our independent automotive shop in Broomfield, CO.
This role focuses on oil changes, routine vehicle maintenance, and keeping the shop running smoothly. We are looking for someone dependable, careful with customer vehicles, and ready to learn.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes using the correct oil type, capacity, and service procedures.
- Check and top off fluids, inspect air and cabin filters, and check tire pressure and condition.
- Perform tire rotations and basic maintenance within your training and assigned responsibilities.
- Complete basic vehicle inspections and report leaks, worn components, and other concerns to the technician or service advisor.
- Double-check completed services, including fluid levels, drain plugs, filters, and wheel torque when applicable.
- Keep service bays, tools, and work areas clean and organized, and follow shop safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with vehicles and hand tools, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Prior oil-change, tire-shop, or other hands-on automotive experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions when unsure, and work well with the team.
- Dependable attendance and a reliable commute to our Broomfield shop.
- Valid driver's license for moving customer vehicles.
Pay and Benefits
Pay is $20.00 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, plus an employee discount.
