About the opportunity
We're opening a brand-new inpatient addiction treatment center in South Hill, Virginia, and seeking a founding Clinical Director to build and lead the clinical program from the ground up. This is a rare chance to shape a treatment center from its earliest days — the model, the team, and the culture of care will carry your imprint.
What you'll do
- Build the clinical program: treatment model, curriculum, policies, and standards of care
- Recruit, hire, train, and lead the clinical team
- Establish clinical documentation, workflows, and quality systems
- Oversee treatment planning and clinical quality once operations begin
- Partner with ownership/leadership on program development, census, and outcomes
What we're looking for
- Active Virginia license as an LCSW or LPC (required)
- Clinical leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
- Knowledge of addiction treatment, ASAM criteria, and evidence-based practices
- Experience with program build-out, licensing, or accreditation a strong plus
- Substance-use credential (LSATP/CSAC) a plus
