Border Patrol Agent Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in protecting the nation's borders and enforcing federal laws.

Job Summary:

• This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to serving the public interest.
• As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas along the U.S.-Mexico border and enforcing immigration and customs laws.
• Work may involve long periods of sitting or standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, driving an ATV, or operating a motorcycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to speak effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this position.

• Age: Must be referred before turning 40 (exceptions for federal or veteran law enforcement)
• Veterans: May qualify under Veterans' Recruitment Appointment (VRA)
• Citizen status is required for all applicants
