Enforcement Specialist


As a Security Patrol Agent, you will be part of the team that enforces customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


You will facilitate legitimate trade and travel while ensuring compliance with federal, state, or local laws and regulations.


Candidates who are eligible for this role will have access to an array of federal employment benefits including health insurance plans, annual leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.


The responsibilities of this position include detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and arresting them using proper law enforcement methods.


Additionally, you will enforce laws relating to importing, exporting, and international shipping, utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.


This role requires a combination of specialized experience and/or graduate-level education. Spanish training may be required for certain locations.


Qualifications:



  • Be a U.S. Citizen

  • Meet Veterans' Preference eligibility criteria to qualify for excepted service appointment.

Salary : $50,000 - $110,000
