Strategic Border Security Officer

Job Summary

The Border Patrol Agent plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation's borders. This position involves enforcing laws and regulations related to customs, immigration, and agriculture. The agent must also facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry and smuggling of contraband.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations through regular patrols and inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Prevent and respond to potential threats to national security.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to ensure effective border management.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship.
• Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
• Age: Must be referred before your 40th birthday.
• Eligible veterans may qualify for excepted service appointment.

Salary : $90,000 - $146,000
