Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy, gerontology, or a related field
• Minimum two years' experience in recreational therapy or a related field
• Certification as an Activity Director by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities that promote social, spiritual, and psychological well-being of residents
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methods
• Familiarity with therapeutic recreation principles and practices
