Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare and submit bids for water/wastewater treatment construction and other heavy industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of treatment plant work as well as heavy industrial trades, cost accounting, risk assessment, and a strategic approach.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit bids for water/wastewater treatment construction projects
- Pursue negotiated opportunities with clients
- Involved in design build budgeting, value engineering, constructability review, marketing, and relationship building
- Strong relationships with Engineers, Owners, Subcontractors, and Vendors
Requirements:
- 10 years experience in water/wastewater construction
- 5 years full-time estimating experience
- Experience with municipal and federal contracting
- Quantity takeoff and pricing for projects up to $50 million
