About the Position
">Key responsibilities include servicing customers, picking up missed stops and routes, dropping off trash or recycling containers, replacing them neatly, cleaning up spills and overflows, and maintaining and updating route and driver logs.- Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers.
- Pick up missed stops and/or routes as needed.
- Drop off trash or recycling containers as required.
- Replace trash or recycling containers neatly at the curb or designated area.
- Clean up waste spills and overflows.
- Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body.
- Maintain and update route and driver logs.
- Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
Requirements
">The ideal candidate must have a valid Class B CDL license and be at least 19 years old.- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
- No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
- Ability to work in high traffic conditions and tight driving areas.
- Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
- Availability for 24-hour emergency calls.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license (if applicable).
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing.
- Ability to read and speak the English language.
