Job Overview
The Warehouse Operator is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for ensuring seamless operations in our warehouse facility. Key responsibilities include operating machinery to move materials around the facility, receiving, processing, and shipping products.
Responsibilities:
- Catalogs, records, and organizes materials received at the warehouse; arranges materials for order assembly
- Fulfills worksheets or tickets for customers by reading production schedules, order forms, and requisitions
- Lociates and gathers products for movement and distribution to production workers, assembly line, or shipping areas
- Assembles, builds, wraps, sorts, and transports customer orders
- Operates hand truck, cart, dollies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport items
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency; ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week
- Must have high sense of urgency
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training
