Essential Responsibilities:
✦ Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
✦ Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed.
✦ Conduct mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms according to established standards and procedures.
✦ Develop mammograms, observe results, and retake images as necessary.
✦ Forward completed studies to radiologists for interpretation.

Candidates must have 1 year of experience in mammography, hold ARRT (M) National Certification, and possess state-specific licensing when required. A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is also essential.
