Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients who require close monitoring and life-sustaining treatments.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced PCU environment and will be able to think critically and make sound decisions quickly. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
This is a 13-week contract position with competitive pay and benefits. We also offer flexible scheduling options and the ability to work at various facilities across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to patients in the PCU
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor patients' conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PCU setting
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
