About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Inspection Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing field inspections and observations for commercial, industrial, and transportation-related construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify the quality of construction materials and equipment
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
- Develop and implement quality control and assurance procedures
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns
- Analyze data and prepare reports to support project decisions
- Supervise and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related fields (with geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology coursework)
- Minimum 2 years' experience with deep foundations (steel pipe piles, steel sheet piles, steel H-piles, precast/prestressed concrete piles, auger cast-in-place piles, drilled concrete piers and shafts, secant piles, stone columns, predrilling, load testing)
- U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work on federal military installation sites
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
