Scientist for Laboratory Operations

Job Summary

This laboratory position involves supporting the execution of experiments and research studies. The ideal candidate will have experience in biological assays, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, ELISA, Flow cytometry, and Western blots. They should also be able to process biological matrices, assist in the establishment and maintenance of cell lines, and coordinate shipments of reagents and samples within the US and outside the US.

The selected individual will provide technical support to laboratory scientists, operate laboratory tools and equipment, collect and analyze data, and create study reports. They must also maintain accurate records and help manage inventories and stock supplies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the development, validation, and execution of analytical assays.
• Process biological matrices, including plasma, serum, tissue, and PBMC isolation.
• Assist in the establishment, characterization, maintenance, banking, expansion, and freezing of cell lines.
• Transport samples between sites as needed.
• Coordinate and organize shipment of reagents/samples within the US and outside the US.
• Support animal experiments by providing conceptual test articles and analyzing animal samples.

• Ability to execute experiments with precision, analyze data, and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary environment.
