Job Details:
This role is a key contributor to the success of our rehabilitation team and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Patient Care Assistant will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with licensed therapists to assist with patient care tasks, including feeding, bathing, and transferring patients as needed.
In addition to patient care, you will also assist with operational activities, such as ordering equipment and supplies, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and completing data entry.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Promotes a positive work environment and adheres to service standards.
Orders and stocks equipment and supplies as needed.
Cleans and maintains equipment, including labeling and identification.
Completes data entry for therapist and patient care purposes.
Assists with routine office and clerical duties.
Provides patient education on safe use of exercise equipment.
Serves as a medical chaperone as required.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the therapist and manager.
Qualifications:
BLS certification for healthcare providers.
Basic computer skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
