Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a key member of the radiation oncology treatment team, you will be responsible for delivering precise and safe radiation therapy to patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate complex equipment such as linear accelerators to deliver concentrated radiation therapy.
- Perform radiation therapy procedures on all patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain accurate records and documents technical details of treatment administered.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and physics staff to ensure proper positioning and measurements.
- Familiarize yourself with all treatment accessories and equipment in your work area.
- Participate in emergency situations to complete patient setup, calculations, and treatment.
- During downtime, assist with general radiology tasks such as X-ray and CT scans.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
- State of Montana Licensure required.
- Registered ARRT.
- CPR Certification.
- 2 years of experience preferred.
