Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the conformance of our products to established standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) as defined on engineering drawings and process documentation. They will be able to work independently to verify the conformance of machined, MIM, plastic, and assemblies according to operation sheets, customer specifications, and drawings.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. They will be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and will be proficient with various inspection tasks involving standard and precision test instruments and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in layout inspection
- Proficient with geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
