Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician Processing is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products intended for consumers. The role involves conducting visual scans to verify product specifications, tracking weights, and identifying adulterated products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of cannabis and cannabis products for organic and inorganic adulterants and defects.
- Audit various applications to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and requirements.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into quality databases.
- Notify supervisors of any incidents of equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following SOPs, adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and complying with legal regulations.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and change it regularly or as needed.
- Communicate quality and/or compliance concerns with urgency to supervisors or team leads.
- Identify areas for improvement in the quality control process.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
