About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment where you will perform routine testing of aggregate samples, including quartering samples, running gradations, washes, moistures, and picking deleterious materials. You will also assist in the preparation and testing of laboratory concrete trial batches, enter data into the aggregate and concrete quality reporting system, calibrate lab equipment, and maintain a clean and organized laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and test concrete and aggregate samples using routine methods and basic arithmetic computations
- Perform routine testing of aggregate samples, including quartering samples, running gradations, washes, moistures, and picking deleterious materials
- Assist in the preparation and testing of laboratory concrete trial batches
- Enter data into the aggregate and concrete quality reporting system
- Calibrate lab equipment and maintain a clean and organized laboratory
