What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at beBee Careers?
This is a full-time position responsible for performing various physical properties tests on finished compounds and plastic raw materials to support the manufacture of high-quality plastic products. The successful candidate will be involved in setting up and operating analytical equipment, collecting and evaluating samples from production, and reporting results through internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow all relevant company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of inventory and supplies needed for the QA office.
- Complete logs and paperwork pertaining to the QA office both manually and electronically.
- Set up and operate analytical equipment as part of sample preparation processes.
- Collect and evaluate samples from production to ensure product meets customer specifications.
- Report results and findings promptly through internal systems.
The ideal candidate should possess a detail-oriented mindset and be knowledgeable about MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Prior related plastics mechanical testing experience is preferred but not required.
