**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team in the Additional Finishes department. This role involves ensuring all safety protocols are followed throughout the plant, maintaining a safe working environment, and following quality management systems certified to ISO 9001.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills. Additionally, experience with loader and unloader machines is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures all safety protocols are adhered to throughout the plant
- Maintains a safe and healthy working environment for the Additional Finishes department
- Follows the Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations
- Performs necessary Lock/Tag/Test audits and assists in delivering weekly safety training materials
- Ensures product specifications are followed throughout the Additional Finishes department
- Assists the supervisor in coordinating the operations of the Additional Finishes department
- Responsible for training new hires on safety, quality policy, and management systems, as well as operating finishing equipment and product knowledge
