The Process Engineer II role provides technical leadership to operate a major asset, meeting product specifications. The goal is achieved through establishing data collection, auditing, and preventive maintenance processes that quickly identify deviations and suggest corrective measures. RCCA analysis, 5 Whys, and 6 Sigma approach are applied as needed.
This role is responsible for addressing improvements in process efficiency, product quality, and cost of poor quality. Process optimization, together with electrical engineers, involves developing and tuning process control architecture. Collaboration with specialists leads to the development and implementation of process modeling systems to optimize operations.
