Process Improvement Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving and implementing process improvement initiatives across our custom made and build to order manufacturing model for exterior door systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to identify and implement process improvements
• Analyze current processes and workflows to pinpoint areas of inefficiency
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement sustainable best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs and track via KPI
• Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance metrics
• Facilitate Kaizen events and meetings to brainstorm and strategize improvement solutions
• Ensure all improvement initiatives align with organizational goals and objectives
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive change

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in continuous improvement and process optimization preferably in a BTO manufacturing environment, at least 5 years
• Black Belt certification

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in Wausau, Wisconsin
• OCCASIONAL TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED FOR SITE VISITS AND MEETINGS
