">The Central Fill Pharmacy team is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Clerk to join their dynamic team. As a key member of this production-based environment, you will play a crucial role in packaging prescriptions and preparing them for shipping.
">Your primary responsibilities will include:
">- Handling HIPAA-sensitive information and medication data while performing prescription packaging tasks. ">
- Sorting prescriptions using handheld scanners to ensure efficient processing. ">
- Verifying accurate locations by scanning bin barcodes and ensuring correct placement of prescriptions. ">
- Conducting audits on closed bins by comparing physical counts with tote manifest systematic counts, reporting discrepancies to management. ">
- Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures by analyzing application screens and pop-up windows containing HIPAA-sensitive information. ">
- Recording total bins created in the system and verifying that the total tote system count equals the physical count. ">
- Obtaining signatures from pickup drivers for chain of custody audit (COC) verification and restocking workstations with daily supply needs. ">
- Duplicating and recording series of numbers on shipping labels for proof of delivery (POD), verifying and signing off on recordings for accuracy. ">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- A High School Degree or equivalent experience. ">
- One year of experience in a warehouse, retail, or customer service setting. ">
- BASIC computer skills. ">
- Effective communication skills for successful team collaboration. ">
Skills and Qualifications
">This position requires specialized knowledge and skills, including:
">- Familiarity with federal and state HIPAA laws. ">
- Ability to follow oral instructions and perform under stress. ">
- Capacity to make judgments and decisions, switching between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure. ">
- Basic mathematical skills. ">
- Operation of pallet jacks, hand trucks/dollies, and scanning units. ">
Work Schedule
">Monday-Thursday: 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, Sunday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime.
