About the Role
This nurse will work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement nursing care plans while ensuring effective communication and documentation.
Essential Functions
- Administer medication utilizing the five rights of medication administration.
- Formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate effectiveness of learning.
- Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity, identifying and addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs.
- Communicate appropriately and clearly to management, co-workers, and physicians.
Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities, and function under stressful situations.
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
