We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director to provide leadership and guidance to our nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care or acute care, with a proven track record in performance management and effective leadership.
About the Role:
- Oversee the nursing staff to ensure quality and appropriate resident/patient care that meets or exceeds regulatory standards
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor monthly performance of nursing services
- Schedule and perform rounds to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current and potential residents and patients to determine the living center's ability to provide appropriate level of care
- Maintain regular communication with the Medical Director to identify educational needs for staff and provide quality care and services
- Manage clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in assigned state
- Minimum five years management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care
