Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered care while working as a RN in post-acute facilities
- Coordinate with the broader care team to develop personalized care plans for residents
- Communicate various care options with medical staff, residents, and their family members
- Take and monitor vital signs and draw fluids as needed for lab work
- Deliver medications and administer treatments to residents
- Document vital signs, nursing interventions and responses, medical histories, and other relevant information in resident records
- Evaluate the effective use of medical equipment and devices
- Assist staff members with incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards of care
- Train nursing professionals and support staff as needed consistent with scope of practice requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of experience (in an RN or related role)
- Completion of an approved nursing program
- A high level of organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across medical and nursing teams
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
