Job Duties
The Cardiac Procedure Technician will be responsible for assisting invasive cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac angiographic procedures.
Responsibilities:- Pre-procedural education of patients scheduled for diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiac procedures.
- Ensures proper preparation of patient and equipment necessary to perform the designated procedure or procedures.
- Maintains a clean and efficient environment for patients, staff, and physicians by maintaining the equipment, inventory, and physical plant.
- Plans and/or implements care for assigned patients.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Specialized Procedure Tech certification.
- BCLS required.
