About the Role
As a Billing Coordinator Senior, you will work closely with providers, patients, and payers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with regulations. You will possess a thorough understanding of managed care contracts and their limitations, as well as working knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and report delinquent accounts directly to the collection agency
- Collect overdue balances from patients and send collection letters
- Process refunds and credits for patients and insurances
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all transactions
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, Required
- Minimum 3 years professional medical billing experience including medical accounts receivables/resolution, insurance claims adjudication, and working knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
