Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Certificate from a Medical Billing and Coding course.
- Coursework in bookkeeping or accounting and computer-aided applications.
- 6 months' work experience in medical billing involving Medicare, Medicaid, and Third Party payers with FQHC, IHS, or Tribal programs.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for the Tribes' vehicle insurance.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work collaboratively with others, and maintain confidentiality of customer records and information.
