About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to production areas according to schedule
- Complete paperwork and enter transactions into the computer system
- Train in Lean methods and participate in team projects to improve productivity
- Load/unload trucks and assist operators with pre-staging and machine set-ups
- Perform cycle count inventory as required
- Replenish point of use storage locations daily
- Evaluate work center issues and report current status to supervisors
Requirements
- Fork truck experience is required
- Warehouse or material handling experience is required
- Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift 50 lb. with assistance
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when needed
