Pellet Mill Operations
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining several pellet mills to ensure optimal feed rates and monitor pellet quality. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be essential in adjusting rolls and dies, as well as performing quality control testing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
You will analyze equipment performance, make necessary tooling and equipment changes to produce desired throughput and quality results, and perform regular inspections to maintain equipment in good condition. Additionally, you will review work order specifications or instructions to determine materials and procedures required to produce pellets.
Your ability to read data and trends will enable you to make appropriate process adjustments, ensuring consistent production quality. You must also be able to work in outdoor environments with varying temperatures and be willing to adapt to working within a team or alone with minimal supervision.
