Job Description
This role is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks, including loading and unloading raw materials, preparing products, and maintaining production areas.
- This individual contributor position has no direct reports.
The job responsibilities include:
- Working on the production line to identify equipment malfunctions or product defects, loading raw materials into equipment, and moving materials to and from the equipment.
- Identifying reject products and notifying lead or supervisory staff.
- Dipping products into sanitizing baths.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with existing policies.
- Complying with organizational policies, including safety, good manufacturing practices, food safety, and employment rules.
- Performing pre-operation activities, such as machine setup and tear down.
- Scraping inedible products and inspecting products to customer specifications.
This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand and follow safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have basic math skills and the ability to read scales and document weights.
