This role involves assisting Manufacturing Engineers with daily tasks and responsibilities.
Main Tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Manufacturing Engineers in various aspects of their work.
- Assist in conducting troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues.
- Participate in 8D project studies to identify and resolve problems.
- Update documentation for systems and floor layouts.
- Conduct SPC studies to analyze and improve processes.
- Design plant floor layouts to optimize production efficiency.
- Analyze time studies and process cycle time improvements.
- Redesign machine components to enhance performance.
- Prepare and design documents (work standards, control plans, process documentation).
- Conduct gaging - CPK studies to ensure quality standards.
- Improve OEE and process standards.
- Maintain machining capability improvements.
- Implement tolerance standards.
- Reduce process variation to achieve optimal results.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
- Experience showing mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
- Good multi-tasking skills and ability to drive results are necessary.
- Ability to do logical problem-solving and willingness to learn are required.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Computer literacy is necessary.
- Time management skills are essential.
