Job Description:
This position involves operating and maintaining landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS) in a timely and cost-effective manner. GCCS consists of extraction points known as wells, interconnected via piping, collecting gas that is then transported using conveyance equipment. The collected gas is combusted within a flare to comply with environmental regulations.
The individual will calibrate, operate, and maintain electronic data collection devices to optimize LFG collection from the wellfield, collect and manage data entry from extraction and monitoring locations, implement preventative maintenance plans, and perform valve/vacuum adjustments and liquid management system maintenance.
They must have basic understanding of environmental regulations related to GCCS operations and be able to work independently without direct supervision. The ideal candidate will have no prior experience required and possess valid driver's license.
