Job Summary
">The Janitorial Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various areas. This position is responsible for ensuring that all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles in a timely and efficient manner
- Dust, wipe, and spot clean all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and walls
- Vacuum, mop, and wet mop designated areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Clean the entire restroom by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock supplies as needed, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and/or wet mop floors
- Ensure all lights are on/off and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area
- Maintain closets in a clean, neat, and orderly condition
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability required
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of position
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with contractual obligations
