About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for directing and managing the overall inventory, warehousing, distribution, shipping, and receiving functions. This includes overseeing all incoming and outgoing activity, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
Main Accountabilities
- Direct and manage the overall inventory, warehousing, distribution, shipping, and receiving functions.
- Develop and implement strategies and methodologies to improve processes and achieve goals.
- Monitor and review all reporting, resolving any discrepancies in inventory reporting or similar issues.
- Maintain high standards of safety throughout operations.
- Train and manage 6-8 employees, monitoring their performance and progress.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of warehouse and management experience.
- Bachelor degree required.
- Bilingual – Spanish and English is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Computer literacy in word, excel, and ERP.
- Forecasting, planning, and scheduling skills.
- Verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff.
