Job Description
We are seeking a skilled internal medicine physician to join our team on a locums basis. As an internal medicine specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and managing the health of adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement treatment plans to manage patient health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Active state license to practice medicine
- Board certification in internal medicine
- Ability to work weekdays, days only
- Ambulatory Care Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Geriatric focus preferred
- Credentialing not necessary
- DEA registration required
