Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of a log crane, chipper/debarker, and/or mobile equipment at a wood pellet manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including log cranes, wheel loaders, knuckle booms, skid steers, and man lifts.
- Cross-train on all applicable heavy equipment operation as needed.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively anticipate and diagnose problems, performing routine or PM maintenance.
- Perform routine administrative functions and utilize checklists to maintain routine inventory and production reports.
- Conduct housekeeping duties as requested, ensuring designated areas are clean and free from safety hazards.
