Job Description:
The Data Clerk role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing data collection and entry, company and state required data reporting, maintenance of electronic and paper medical records, as well as reporting support to the Early Intervention Program.
Responsibilities:
- Manage participant information in the Program database.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper charts for all children enrolled in the program.
- Process daily and monthly billing.
- Compile and prepare information for all state and company reporting periods.
- Analyze data and generate reports as needed.
- Develop and maintain forms for program child tracking, caseload management and operations/events.
- Provide exceptional customer service to callers and visitors.
- Participate in staff meetings and family support team meetings.
- Support the Administrative Assistant as needed.
- Attend and participate in organization and department meetings, training, volunteer programs and events.
- Maintain a clean, safe and "childproof" environment.
- Perform other department duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year experience in office administration.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing or sitting for extended periods.
- Frequent speaking and listening to clients, staff and others.
- Utilize computer, cell phone, desk phone and scanner/printer.
- Frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the workplace.
- Occasional lifting, carrying and loading/unloading materials and equipment.
