Job Description:
This is a non-exempt, seasonal position working under the direction of the Head Groundskeeper and other full-time staff. The position typically works Monday through Friday, 20-30 hours per week, from May to September depending on weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operation of landscaping equipment
- Light tree care
- Maintenance of grounds facilities
- Ability to perform physical duties including working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain
- Lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability and experience operating landscape maintenance machinery
- Sitting/operating equipment for long periods of time
- Walking long distances
