We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Engineer - Infrastructure to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Scalable and Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, this engineer will design and implement cloud infrastructure that meets our business needs.
- Manage and Optimize Database Infrastructure: This individual will ensure that our database infrastructure is optimized for high performance and availability.
- Implement Monitoring Systems: The engineer will design and implement monitoring systems to ensure our cloud infrastructure is running smoothly and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Automate Repetitive Tasks and Workflows: This individual will use scripting languages and tools to automate repetitive tasks and workflows.
- Ensure Security and Compliance: This engineer will ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets all security and compliance requirements.
- Respond to and Resolve Incidents: This individual will respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: This engineer will maintain accurate documentation of our infrastructure and report on its performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years' experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, VMWare).
- 3 years' experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- 3 years' knowledge of Load Balancers and WAF (e.g., F5-ASM, Cloud Armor, Global Load Balancers, F5-LTM, etc.).
- 1 year experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- 3 years' proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications related to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cybersecurity Professional).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with security practices and tools.
