Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical or Geo-structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to complex construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to the estimating department in bid preparation, ensuring accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Prepare detailed design drawings for construction, using expertise in geotechnical and structural engineering principles.
- Collaborate with project managers during the construction process, providing technical guidance and support.
Requirements
- A degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical or structural engineering; a master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in structural, geotechnical, and/or geo-structural engineering.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Licensed professional engineer or ability to become one within the next year.
- Familiarity with design software, including Excel, Autocad, and Mathcad, as well as other state-of-the-art packages.
