Financial Accounting Responsibilities
Assist in Daily Cash Transactions: Record daily cash transactions accurately in the general ledger.
Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and reconcile assigned bank accounts on a monthly basis.
Property & Equipment Ledgers: Assist in maintaining the property and equipment ledgers, including preparing monthly and quarterly reports, and placing equipment tags on items.
General Ledger Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare general ledger reconciliations and related entries as needed to ensure accuracy in financial records.
State Premium Tax Reports: Assist in filing quarterly state premium tax reports, year-end state premium tax returns, and supplemental reports.
Surplus Lines Tax Filings: Help in the monthly and annual filing of surplus lines taxes.
Special Projects: Take on special requests and projects as directed by management.
