Fulfillment Specialist
The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise to meet customer demands. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments of merchandise, verify quantities, and inspect for damages. Record received goods in the inventory management system and distribute to designated storage locations.
2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations. Organize and store merchandise in designated locations within the warehouse, following safety and space utilization guidelines.
3. Order Picking and Packing: Pick items from shelves or storage bins according to pick tickets or electronic orders. Pack and prepare merchandise for shipping, ensuring that orders are complete and properly packaged.
4. Shipping and Loading: Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery to customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Load merchandise onto trucks or shipping containers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
5. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse. Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities:
