About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused professional to join our team as a Fueling Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily vehicle inspections, completing Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR), and submitting them to the Fleet Maintenance Department. Additionally, you will perform inspections of facilities as appropriate and conduct Fuels Quality testing in accordance with the Terminal Operations Manual (TOM).
Key Responsibilities
- Performs daily vehicle inspections, completes DVIR, and submits it to Fleet Maintenance Department
- Inspects facilities as appropriate prior to conducting transfer operations
- Conducts Fuels Quality testing in accordance with TOM
- Assists with maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and facility as needed
- Performs inventory control of bulk fuel tanks and tank trucks as necessary
- Delivers and receives fuel to and from company tanks, customers tanks, barges, and aircraft as required
- Provides customer services-related activities, including fuel attendant duties, reconciling pump meter readings, sales slips, and credit card charges
- Acts as first responder to any Company oil spill incident
- Follows all safety rules and procedures
- Able to work overtime as necessary
Requirements
- Must possess a Class B (or A) CDL with Hazmat Endorsement
- Minimum one-year experience driving straight trucks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State of Alaska driver's license
- Ability to wear a half-face respirator
- Ability to climb stairs at least 50 ft. high
- Requires work outside in all types of weather
