We are seeking a Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
About the Role:
- Assist the Superintendent in leading and supervising daily activities, plans, coordinates, monitors project costs and productivity.
- Read blueprints and specifications, and translate them to project execution and action in the field.
- Ensure and maintain full job site safety responsibility for all workers in accordance with company safety policy and OSHA requirements.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing or via radio, address and resolve conflicts with coworkers, suppliers, and clients.
Responsibilities:
The Foreman will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising a team of construction professionals.
- Developing and implementing operational processes and procedures.
- Maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Foreman, you will need:
- At least 3-5 years' experience working in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- A thorough understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
